Play. Learn. Code. Have Fun.
At Rheecode Robotics we believe using play to establish the early steps of coding and engineering is a brilliant way to prepare our young people for a future in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
James Rhee, STEM coach, Robotics Enrichment mentor and Teacher of Design & Technology
Rheecode Robotics is a club set up by James Rhee, a teacher with over 15 years of experience in secondary school STEM education and robotics enrichment. (First Lego League, World Robotics Olympiad, Elite Engineering Program, The First Tech Challenge, VEX Robotics and many more.)
James’s vision of providing students with a fun environment to learn has been recognised by many organisations such as the Helsington Foundation and Elite Engineering Program Teachers award, First Lego League Regional Coach award, and First Tech Challenge Champion Organisation leader.
Our aim is to build an environment where your child gets to learn beyond the classroom, solve problems through engineering and coding and have fun whilst doing all of the above. We are passionate about young people and providing new and fun experiences through STEM education.
Friday after school robotics Club and Saturday morning STEM Explore, are open to all students in KS2 and KS3.
Students will learn to build, and code using Spike Prime, to take on many different engineering challenges throughout the program whilst building resilience and leadership skills through robotics. The club will give your child the confidence and skills to compete at Regional, National and Global robotics tournaments.
What your child will learn:
...and many more exciting challenges.
Clubs are mixed ability and students are from both KS2 and KS3. At Rheecode Robotics we believe in vertical mentoring and collaboration. But most importantly to have fun whilst learning.
Our aim is to build an environment where your child gets to learn beyond the classroom, solve problems through engineering and coding and have fun whilst doing all of the above. We are passionate about young people and providing new and fun experiences through STEM education.
We run classes on a Friday after school and Saturday mornings. We also run holiday camps and parties.

We present robotics workshops to kids of all ages in schools, clubs, and uniformed groups. Through our after school robotics program we are actively supporting the Computing and Design and Technology Curriculum for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3, Cubs and Scouts, Digital Maker Staged Activity Badge.
“ It is always a pleasure to work with Mr Rhee with his STEM and robotics clubs. He achieves great results and leaves year on year legacies of competition wins, inspired pupils and delighted judges. ”

“ “Thanks to Mr Rhee, my kids love robotics, and now my older daughter is a robo-maniac. These robotics sessions with him are not just teaching them new skills like designing, building, and coding robots, but how to work with other kids effectively as a team. After all, the most important part is that they have fun!” ”
